This may not include those applications that are outside linkedin. So, you can imagine how competitive current job market is. And not all these applications will be brought in for a job interview. I think about 6-8 candidates will get the job interviews, this is less than 5%. And then 1 of them will get the job. No wonder that the Google is hard to get in - You have to be the at least top 0.5% among all those applicants.
