If you depend on salary, you are going to be miserable for the rest of your life.
Only few salaried earners are rich. Few of them. Majority of salaried earners in Africa are broke. They can't eat the food they want.
Everybody has to budget things. You can't buy a car without going for a bank loan. You can't build a house without going for a bank loan. You can't buy a plot of land. Taking care of your children becomes a challenge. Because you depend on only one stream of income.
How do you think you will be successful, you will be rich in life, if you depend on just one stream of income?
Look around you. All the rich men in the world, they have businesses that generate money for them daily. Salary is only good when you are in your 20s. If you are in your 40s, you have to run your own business.
Leave salary. Leave your job for those who are in their 20s. Because in your 40s, you have a lot of responsibilities. If you are in your 20s, you don't have a lot of responsibilities. You are just taking care of yourself alone. But if you are in your 40s, so many responsibilities.
Why do you want to become miserable in life?
Create something that your children can inherit.
Your children cannot inherit your job, but your children can always inherit your business when you are no more.
Even when you are sick, your children can...
Run your own business.
