Sometimes we desire to be loved by people who do not have the capacity to love us the way that we like to be loved.
They've never seen or experienced that kind of love they don't know what it's like to be accountable to someone they don't know what it's like to show up for someone, they don't know how to be consistent in a relationship they don't know how to forgive and how to deal with issues as they arise now.
It is up to us to decide if we are going to have the patience to allow them to learn or we are going to excuse ourselves from the equation.
