The Florida Bitcoin & Blockchain Summit kicked off on Thursday, bringing together industry leaders and stakeholders to make Florida a leader in blockchain and financial technology.

The sprawling event spans the fourth floor of the Amalie Arena and features booths from industry leaders such as Blockspaces, Celsius Network and Synapse.

There are two main presentation areas: the Celsius Main Stage in Firestick Lounge and the University of South Florida room.

Celsius is like a blockchain-based bank, allowing consumers to earn, borrow, and pay with the blockchain via a mobile application.
