The European Union has made no secret of its ambition to succeed on the global technology scene, especially when it comes to blockchain.
Europe is betting big on this technology and has selected a team of seven companies to design and develop the next generation European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI).
This is part of the European Commission's flagship project to leverage blockchain technology to raise the standard for cross-border services for governments, businesses and individuals across the EU.
