【CoinGeek】Create your own pocket sized blockchain in JavaScript

Satoshi Nakamoto has established the basic structure of the blockchain with Bitcoin. Here we just follow it, albeit a simplified one.

In blockchain, the block header stores the "Merkle Root". This is a hash of all the transactions in that block.

Then, each new block also holds the hash of the last block as a "chain". This is a fundamental property of blockchain. In other words, each block is built on top of the previous block.

Next, we just need to initialize the blockchain array and create our first block, the Genesis Block.
