I've been chatting with folks about all the various blockchain options and of course I mention Blurt. I had someone ask me about my personal thoughts on what made each blockchain special.
So, I shared what I found value in as far as my participation and experience have been with each blockchain thus far. After all the learning continues and the evolution of each blockchain changes each day.
When I spoke about Blurt (in my limited experience) I shared that it was a simple and easy to use blogging platform that was newer, but had the ability to grow. In my mind the opportunity is to join in these early days to be part of that growth and to help build and guide the Blurt community.
My question to you is, what do you think makes Blurt special?

There are no downvotes on Blurt, so there are no abusive downvoting wars and bitterness when your efforts and earnings get wiped out on the 7th day. Blurt is a very friendly blogging platform which makes it easy to invite family and friends without any worries. https://Joinblurt.com

I hadn't noticed the lack of downvote option, but you bring up a good point. Sharing pieces of our lives and thoughts through blogging should be encouraged and a downvoting war just to be contrary does not help the community grow.
