How many Blurt do we need to Burn to get down to 21 Million ? 🔥 🤬

in bitcoin •  last year  (edited)

I was just checking on Ecosynthesizer.com to see how much Blurt there is in existence.

Blurt Supply : 519 Million ….. https://ecosynthesizer.com/blurt/

It looks like there is approximately 519 Million Blurt.

We we would need to burn almost 500 Million Blurt to get back down to 21 Million.

Why 21 Million ?

For comparison there will only ever be 21 million bitcoins

The maximum supply of 21 million bitcoins will be reached around the year 2140, after which no new bitcoins can be mined. The 21 million Bitcoin limit also has important implications for the process of Bitcoin mining.

If we can get Blurt down to 21 Million maybe the price of Blurt will go to $ 35,000 USD ?

Is this even possible ?

Its easier to limit to 2.1 billion

  ·  last year  ·

Or just get 20,000 Blurt bloggers burning 69 Blurt a day 365 days a year ….

= 500 million Blurt

How burn is possible technically?

  ·  last year  ·

By sending Blurt, Steem, Hive to @null

The @null address in crypto is specifically generated to allow Proof of Burn. Coin burning happens when a token is intentionally sent to an unusable wallet to remove it from circulation. The address is called a burn address or eater address. It can't be accessed or assigned to anyone.

It's crazy to compare Blurt to bitcoin, maybe it's comparable to hive. How many hives are there now?

  ·  last year  ·

Almost the same ..

There are 415 Million Hive + 33 Million HBD (= 95 million Hive)

= 514 Million Hive

This means that the only reason for the low price is not the supply, if there is demand it can reach the hive price on blurt.

  ·  last year  ·

And if we can reduce the supply by 500 million … even higher than Hive.

  ·  last year  ·

If 20,000 Blurt Bloggers burn 69 Blurt each day for 365 days a year that would equal 500,000 Million Blurt burned in one year.

Then we start buying and selling blurt with its subunits. blurtoshi instead of satoshi 😄

About 500 million! 😂

Better get burning …

That sounds good, but we don't have 20K active bloggers... 😔

How many do we have ?

Total Blurt Blogs = ?

Total Active Blurt Blogs = ?

Regrettably, I have no idea, but I don't think 20K active bloggers are regularly posting... 🤷‍♂️
