I have small amounts of everything so I have decided to hodl everything and hope something goes to $1,000,000 some day. Anytime I tried to trade Bitcoin I have to buy back higher... and pay tons and tons and tons of fees....
I don't trust the market enough to hodl indefinitely. However, I do have trading experience from some years back, both in a company trading gold futures and sole trading. It looks so easy - make money with a couple of clicks - and yet...
hence my advice to you in the past to stick to what you know and can do and accumulate - although I would take some cream off the tops :-)
Having discovered some DOWN futures contracts on Binance, they have helped, so as you say, no need to waste away lots of fees and also lose money. You can, for example, just practice a bit with under $100. See how the numbers work, how they change compared to the underlying coin - not only BTC.
It is learning a new skill coz sometimes the best action is no action at all - just wait, sometimes hours, sometimes 3 or 4 days. There is always the urge to do something.
Like the current drop - it was already down 15%, so at about 48k it really needed a breather, and retest what was a support at about 51k - that's what it is still doing.
I will give it a try.... but if Bitcoin is going to eventually reach $1,000,000 I wish I would have just kept stacking on the dips.
