My father is plumber so the data is pretty much accurate... Hot water should be 50-65 degrees centigrade before the faucet and normal faucets have limiter that doesn't allow hotter than 40 degrees centigrade. Normal cat body temperature is about 38 degrees centigrade.

I have two cats now, but I used to have 5... Sometimes they did sleep on top of a heater element and I had to lift them when they started teasing each other...

I don't need "own" dog if my girlfriend has a dog... Basically when I was younger, my parents had a dog... Recently my dad bought a dog again because cats didn't like him...
Cats only like themselves. They may act like they like you at some point but it's only because they think it can benefit themselves at that time.
