The Bitcoin Network has never been more secure

Hashrate keeps climbing while price is stagnant

Ironically enough, a stagnant price isn't that bad currently.

In an environment where the Nasdaq stock index is down some 6% on the week, bitcoin is basically flat.

All things considered, not that bad.

Also, of interest is the fact that the hashrate just keeps climbing.

The hashrate is a measure of the amount of computation mining power put into mining/securing the bitcoin network.

The higher the hashrate the more secure the network.

As you can see, the network has never been more secure than it is right now and it continues to get more and more secure.

This is tough news for current miners but the user is going to get a more and more secure network.
