This is the cutest birthday gift I've ever received. Noble, Colby Jeffers' six-year-old son crafted this adorable birthday card for me, with the supervision of his little brother, Justice aka Justy Busty Frosty, and Cyrus, who was undoubtedly asleep or having a good time somewhere lol.
The drawing depicts me embracing the planet, using three primary and profoundly significant colors: green, blue, and brown, which could directly be translated into biodiversity, water, and earth. They evoke thoughts of #GreenEconomy, #BlueEconomy, and the fundamental elements of sustainable development.
Upon receiving this heartfelt gift, several quotes flooded my mind:
"Green is life"
"No blue, no life"
"We do not own Earth, we are just a part of Earth"
However, what resonated most strongly was this quote; “We don't inherit the earth, we borrow it from our children.” This sentiment serves as a powerful reminder that we owe our children a thriving, just, inclusive, and sustainable planet.
Thank you, Noble, Justy, and Cyrus. Uncle Green loves you all so much.
I will give my greatest efforts, sweat, and bleed to give you and future generations a safe and healthy planet.
Special thanks to everyone who took out time to wish me a happy birthday. I love you all.
