Birdies

in birds •  7 months ago

This is just opposite to my home, there is a bird feeding ground and someone or the other comes and puts the grains for the birds. In this season I always see that the number of birds also increase. In summer time, it's only during the early morning hours that I see so many birds else then the rest of the day they are not to be seen. It is so hot that they must be taking shelter in the trees. But in winter, throughout the day I see them at this place. Majorly there are pigeons.

One thing is very funny that I observe here in Muscat, I never see bird shit anywhere. In Mumbai it's a pain, they shit everywhere. If I keep something to dry at my balcony, in no time I will find some bird shit on it. I jokingly tell my hubby that Muscat birds are more civilized then Mumbai ones, probably they have got some training to not shit anywhere they like....haha

I like to hear their chirping and their sounds, it feels so peaceful listening to them and I love to see these white birds, I feel like when I see them there is something good coming my way. I feel it's a good sign to see white birds. It's like the sign of the Universe, white birds and white feathers.
