The Theory of Everything || The other name of the miracle; Stephen Hawking

in biography •  last year

The most active, productive and enjoyable time of life's journey for most people is in their 20s. It is the brightest period for most of us and a time period that also contains memorable stories in the years to come.

A person who reacts by saying "what about the brain" when he is told about the two-year life expectancy determined after the risk of limitation and loss of all the abilities that require being human as a result of a disease caught in his early 20s may be someone who emphasises how important it is to be able to think and is aware of the treasure in his brain.

The decline in life activities, such as the limitation and then loss of the ability to walk... the limitation and then loss of the ability to move... the limitation and then loss of the ability to speak, forces them to find solutions for the next stages and makes them live by thinking about the joy of being alive despite everything.

The biggest reason that makes the film impressive is that it is about the life of Stephen Hawking. His illness that emerged during his student period, his marriage and his desire for life are among the best examples that can be given to many people. At the age of 21, his illness and the fact that doctors gave him an average life expectancy of 2 years did not detach him from his desire to live as long as he could think. The life he left behind, his humorous personality and the works he left behind are proof. The fact that he lived until the age of 76 is his stubborn personality, which may be the reason for the solutions he produced in despair.

+What about the brain
-The brain is unaffected, your thoughts don't change.

This dialogue, taken from the film The Theory of Everything, shows his first reaction when he was told about all the repercussions of his illness and his short life span. This was the most humane reaction I could give, to be unaffected by the scene and to watch it thoughtfully with tears in my eyes and to freeze for a while. The fact that he only cared about his brain at that moment was the thoughts he could produce in his brain and what he wanted to do, which many people were not aware of, but he was aware of.

Portraying Stephen Hawking in a film is perhaps one of the most difficult roles. We can think of it as his title, his achievements and his illness. We can agree with many people who watched the film that Eddie Redmayne, who portrayed Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything, did his role very well with both the weight of Stephen Hawking and the difficult disease process.

A perfect personality; Stephen Hawking and a perfect film reflecting his life; The Theory of Everything.

I don't remember being so impressed by any biography film I have ever seen. One of the most beautiful feelings that the film gives is that the commitment to life should never end. Instead of details such as Stephen Hawking's being a physicist or having other titles and awards, the exemplary life he led stands out more and adds the feature that makes the film unique.

The fact that I have not watched the film until today is my mistake of choice and loss. If there are still those who have not watched the film like me, I recommend you to end this loss and preference mistake as soon as possible and watch the film immediately. The 2 hours lost during the viewing is the hard-to-describe emotions and the rise in the determination to live!
