Spend some time doing nothing. It doesn't have to be long or hard, just a few minutes is enough. You can start any day, anywhere, and do it with no problem.
When I am feeling lazy, I will try to do something. I might think that I will be tired in the morning and not want to do anything. This is usually when I find my excuse, I need to "get something done" or I have to "check my email." But that is all they will tell me, and all I will do.

I know what you are thinking. You think I am trying to spend my time in front of the computer, reading emails, doing homework, or something. This is the same thing. And all of this time is spent sitting around, staring at the screen, which can slow me down.
The problem is, I am working toward a goal. To get better at something. To increase my income or whatever. If I don't use all my time for this then I will not get any closer to my goal.
So, instead of spending time doing nothing, why not make up your mind to get something done. It might be a short task such as putting together a report, writing a letter or going to the gym. Whatever you do, make sure that you get it done.
I know this might sound like a lot of work, but it isn't. When you get something done this way you will see your confidence and motivation to do more things improve. And you will start seeing results quickly. You won't get tired or distracted like you used to. Once you start seeing the improvement your time is better spent in the right place. It may not be something that you would like to do all of the time, but if you do it once in a while it can help you achieve goals faster. For example, if you want to write more articles then spend your time writing articles. The more articles you write, the more people will read them, and the more successful you will become at writing. When you get better at writing, then you might start writing more articles.
This will help you to get the point across that you aren't wasting your time in front of the computer anymore. It gives you something to look forward to. and something you can accomplish.
By getting rid of the old habit you will soon find yourself spending more time in the new habit. which will give you a sense of accomplishment and confidence that you will get more done.
