En la actualidad gran cantidad de personas en el mundo se dedican a trabajar por internet, muchos son freelance, es decir, que realizan trabajos especializados por una cantidad de dinero. Pero, poco se habla de la gran cantidad que se dedican a trabajar en páginas PTC o de micro tareas, estas son páginas utilizadas mayormente por personas de Latinoamérica o países con grandes crisis económicas.

Estas se caracterizan por pagar centavos por realizar tareas pequeñas, como dar likes, ver videos o subscribirse a un Exchange, entre otros. Yo no escapo a esa realidad, desde 2017, debido a la gran crisis económica en mi país también me vi en la necesidad de trabajar en este tipo de plataformas.

Por experiencia propia puedo afirmar que este tipo de trabajos son como una esclavitud, porque para conseguir pagos medianamente decentes se debe trabajar muchas horas y en la mayoría de los casos son tareas repetitivas.

Algunas páginas como como kotibablo o 2capcha pagan aproximadamente $1 por resolver 1000 capchas, parece sencillo pero muchas veces por la lentitud del internet lleva varias horas realizar este tipo de tareas.

Esta semana he dado una vuelta nuevamente por las páginas que anteriormente usaba, con la finalidad de ver si aun estaban funcionando, (tengo más de un año sin trabajar en ninguna de ellas), he encontrado un denominador común en varias de estas. Anteriormente te podían pagar $0.5 centavos por seguir una cuenta en twitter o por visitar determinada página y estar 1 minuto en ella. Ahora debes realizar búsquedas, seleccionar la pagina correcta, navegar por 5 min y visitar otros 10 links por los mismo 0.5 centavos. Supongo que como cada vez hay mas personas desesperadas por ganar un poco de dinero se aprovechan, aumentando la dificultad de las tareas y al mismo tiempo disminuyendo el pago por realizarlas.

Otra cosa que me causo curiosidad y preocupación es que existen gran cantidad de tareas donde solicitan enviar criptomonedas a una billetera y el pago por estas tareas es menor que el monto enviado, lo peor es que muchas personas por desconocimiento las realizan.

También encontré tareas que pagan por reseñas de aplicaciones en la Playstore, lo que significa que no podemos confiar en estas reseñas al momento de buscar una app para nuestro teléfono, porque claramente están pagando para que dejen reseñas positivas. Me parece bastante delicado este punto.

Todo esto me demuestra que mientras existan personas con necesidades y falta de conocimientos existirán otros que se aprovechen de ellos, tanto en la vida real como en el mundo virtual. Espero que más personas conozcan las blockchain y plataformas web 3.0 donde pueden ganar dinero con sus conocimientos y haciendo los que les gusta, sin ser explotados por otros.

This week I have taken a look again at the pages I used to use before, in order to see if they were still working, (I have more than a year without working in any of them), I have found a common denominator in several of these. Previously they could pay you $0.5 cents to follow a twitter account or to visit a certain page and stay 1 minute on it. Now you have to search, select the right page, browse for 5 min and visit another 10 links for the same 0.5 cents. I guess that as more and more people are desperate to earn a little money they take advantage, increasing the difficulty of the tasks and at the same time decreasing the payment for doing them.

Another thing that caused me curiosity and concern is that there are a lot of tasks where they ask to send cryptocurrencies to a wallet and the payment for these tasks is less than the amount sent, the worst thing is that many people do them out of ignorance.

I also found tasks that pay for app reviews in the Playstore, which means that we can not trust these reviews when looking for an app for our phone, because clearly they are paying to leave positive reviews. I find this point quite delicate.

All this shows me that as long as there are people with needs and lack of knowledge there will be others who take advantage of them, both in real life and in the virtual world. I hope that more people know about blockchain and web 3.0 platforms where they can earn money with their knowledge and doing what they like, without being exploited by others.
