Thank you for your participation in this weeks challenge.
It has been noted throughout the years that children are more prone to experiencing super-natural events. Some say it's because we haven't fully incorporated the strict mindsets that are forced upon us by the adults around us, so we are able to perceive more of the world around us. A belief that our very own thoughts and beliefs, while limiting us, also serve as shields against many of the mysterious things surrounding us.
One thing that has always been a debate inside for myself is whether these experiences occur outside what we consider a time/distance barrier. I won't go into that, just speculating a little here.
I still don't know whether it was a paranormal incident or a hallucination of me.
I've often thought that many so called hallucinations were indeed para normal events, and to explain it away it is called a hallucination. Severe experiences of this involve so called group hallucinations, such as we hear took place in the so called Miracle of Fatima. Nothing biblical even by Christian standards once one understands the books of that faith would allow for such an event to take place. Yet for sure something happened, and insinuating an estimated 70000 people shared a hallucination is more absurd than believing something happened that shifted the groups perception frequencies.
I can imagine how frightened you must have been. Such events leave a strong mark on us, moreso I believe as we are coerced into not discussing these events in our lives and shedding light on them.
Again, thank you so much for participating in this weeks challenge. :)
I dunno... hundreds of cameras and not a single solar selfie! ;-)
Mind you, scaring kids seems to be a favourite trick of priests - gives them some power they know they don't really have.
It seems to me that something certainly occurred. I wonder if at times the perception occurring takes place in an area outside of the confines of our tech. Of course, this raises the question if the tech is purposely limited to avoid detection of certain activities being measured.
I've grown more certain over time that what we think of as advanced tech has been around for longer than our recorded history, and those who possess it release it when they are preparing for something and need us to possess more than natural tools. I also suspect that for the masses this introduction probably implies bad things ahead. But that is a cynical area an entire post couldn't do justice to.
If we ever did find actual ancient tech, the Smithsonian agents will be there faster than light - indeed, anything that goes against the human fairy tale gets stolen or destroyed. Sad fkn species.
I don't spend much energy chasing such stories - they just get filed away as known unknowns - maybe can reconnect later, but just doesn't seem like time well spent compared to generating one's own power. Don't get me wrong, some of it is fascinating, just that I can't use it immediately.
I had in my possession, some years back, a strange letter alleging electromagnetic harassment... in 1895!! The letter was pinned inside the guy's psychiatric notes, which obviously means it was never sent ;-)
I don't chase it either. I've come across reports of it since my childhood and still see more as I poke around. It's undeniable (if one looks) not to see that there were levels of tech in times of antiquity, both in remains that were not hidden as well as ancient communications such as "holy" writings and even pictures drawn on the side of caves etc.
Some though, one has to take it exactly as you said. During my religious search many years ago I stumbled across Zecharia Sitchin. If his claims of translation from Sumerian writings are correct, it reveals much on how much has really been hidden. As well as implications that would reach into the common times. But as you said, as one who doesn't read Sumerian, for all I know he made it all up. Although the pictures he shares does tend to add a little foundation.
I agree about the power. I do however use some of what seems likely, as we all do. I just tend to acknowledge I've incorporated it into my underlying beliefs when most are unaware they are doing this.
