As the prevalence of corona has decreased in Bangladesh, the government of Bangladesh has reopened everything as before. The situation in Corona is now very much controlled in Bangladesh. Yet after so much we are all apprehensive.
The Indian variant spread in Bangladesh a few days ago. Then the government of Bangladesh completely shut down Bangladesh. Schools, colleges, universities were closed in the past but only closed other sectors anew. Weekly hats are newly introduced in Bangladesh. Friday, Monday and Wednesday are the three days of the market. Besides, all kinds of shopping malls, entertainment centers, all government and private offices, courts, public transport are closed in a new way and shut down and the whole of Bangladesh is blocked so that corona cannot spread in the whole country in any way.
Prolonged shutdowns and lockdowns severely disrupted normal life. The condition of the poorest, lower and middle classes in particular was more miserable. Also, during Corona's time, many lost their jobs, were fired, and laid off, making life more difficult for ordinary people.
The government provided a lot of relief but due to corruption, lack of accountability, unequal distribution of relief, relief did not reach the poorest of the poor. As a result, poor people fail to continue even after suffering a lot. Many become unemployed, many are emotionally broken, and many choose to commit suicide because they cannot bear the pain of poverty. Ordinary people grow frustrated and disgusted with their own lives, which leads to the downfall of any human race.
There are no lockdowns or shutdowns now but the effects of those past lockdowns and shutdowns are still in people's lives. People can still understand that horrible situation. This situation should never be seen again, this situation should never come back. Leave the world forever.
করোনার প্রাদুর্ভাব বাংলাদেশে কমে যাওয়ার সাথে সাথেই সব কিছু আবার আগের মতো খুলে দিয়েছে বাংলাদেশ সরকার। করোনার পরিস্থিতি বাংলাদেশে এখন অনেকটাই নিয়ন্ত্রিত। তবুও এত কিছুর পরেও আমরা সবাই শঙ্কিত।
বাংলাদেশে ভারতীয় ভেরিয়েন্ট ছড়িয়ে পড়ে বেশ কিছুদিন আগে। তখন বাংলাদেশ সরকার বাংলাদেশকে পুরোপুরি শাটডাইন করে দেয়।স্কুল, কলেজ, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলো পূর্ব থেকেই বন্ধ করে রাখা ছিল শুধু অন্যান্য সেক্টর গুলো নতুন করে বন্ধ করে দেয়। সাপ্তাহিক হাটের নতুন করে প্রচলন শুরু হয় বাংলাদেশে। শুক্র,সোম,বুধ এই তিনদিন হাটের দিন হিসেবে নির্ধারিত করে দেওয়া করা হয়। এছাড়া সব ধরনের শপিং মল, বিনোদন কেন্দ্র সকল সরকারি - বেসরকারি অফিস, আদালত, গনপরিবহন নতুন ভাবে বন্ধ করে দিয়ে শাটডাউন করে পুরো বাংলাদেশকে অবরুদ্ধ করে রাখে যেনো করোনা কোনো ভাবেই পুরো দেশে ছড়িয়ে যেতে না পারে।
দীর্ঘদিন শাটডাউন, লকডাউনের কারনে স্বাভাবিক জীবনযাত্রা ব্যাপকভাবে ব্যহত হয়। বিশেষত হতদরিদ্র, নিম্নবিত্ত এবং মধ্যবিত্তদের অবস্থা ছিল বেশি দুর্বিষহ। এছাড়াও করোনার সময়তে অনেকের চাকরি চলে যায়,চাকরি থেকে অব্যাহতি দেওয়া হয়, চাকরি থেকে ছাটাই করে দেওয়া হয় যা সাধারণ মানুষের জনজীবনকে আরো কঠিন করে তুলে।
সরকার অনেক ত্রাণের ব্যবস্থা করেছিল কিন্তু দুর্নীতি, জবাবদিহিতার অভাব, ত্রাণের অসম বন্টন ইত্যাদির কারণে ত্রান সঠিকভাবে হতদরিদ্রদের হাতে পৌঁছায় না। ফলে দরিদ্র মানুষ অনেক কষ্ট করেও চলতে ব্যার্থ হয়। অনেকে বেকার হয়ে যায়, অনেকে মানসিকভাবে ভেঙে পড়ে আবার অনেকে দারিদ্র্যতার কষ্ট সহ্য না করতে পেরে আত্মাহত্যার পথ বেঁছে নেয়। সাধারণ মানুষের তাদের নিজেদের জীবনের ওপর হতাশা, বিতৃষ্ণা জন্মায় যা যেকোনো মানবজাতির অধঃপতন ডেকে আনে।
বর্তমানে লকডাউন বা শাটডাউন নেই কিন্তু সেই অতীত লকডাউন এবং শাটডাইনের প্রভাব মানুষের জীবনে এখনও রয়েছে। সেই ভয়াবহ পরিস্থিতি এখনও মানুষ অনুধাবন করতে পারে। এই পরিস্থিতি যেনো আর কখোনো দেখতে না হয়, এই পরিস্থিতি যেনো আর কখোনো ফিরে না আসে। পৃথিবী থেকে করোনা চিরবিদায় নিক।
