After Chelsea's transfer, Christopher Nkunku confirms his favorite position.

Christopher Nkunku, a recent addition to Chelsea, has acknowledged that he prefers to play as a striker than a midfielder or winger.

The Frenchman, whose long-awaited transfer to Chelsea was announced this month, has played all over the field throughout his career, including right back for former Blues manager Thomas Tuchel at PSG. However, it was Nkunku's skills as a second striker that convinced Chelsea to sign him.

While many supporters anticipate seeing Nkunku play as a 10 behind a pure striker, the 25-year-old has acknowledged his preferred spot on the field is somewhere else.

According to him, the position of striker is his favorite. I've also played as a midfielder and striker in recent years. This is a position I enjoy.

"I want to perform some skills and protect my football while being happy on the field."

Nicolas Jackson of Villarreal is expected to sign for around £35 million.

Victor Osimhen of Napoli, who has long been considered Chelsea's top striker target, is reportedly still a goal, but his asking price of well over £100m has prompted the Blues to look at other possibilities.

Jackson, Nkunku, or anybody else may start as Chelsea's striker next season, but the Blues' front line under Mauricio Pochettino will likely look very different since numerous dissatisfied stars are anticipated to leave this summer.

While Christian Pulisic has interest in Italy, Hakim Ziyech is close to joining Al Nassr and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang may join him there.

notwithstanding the rejection of three bids, the most recent of which was for £55 million.
