A MAMMOTIVE €150 MILLION PER YEAR OFFER FROM SAUDI ARABIA WAS REJECTED BY BARCELONA SUPERSTAR

A superstar from Barcelona declined a massive offer from Saudi Arabia for €150 million per year.
In an effort to raise their sporting profile and strengthen their bid to host the FIFA World Cup 2030, Saudi Arabia is upending the transfer market by spending a lot of money to attract established stars from Europe.

Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Ruben Neves were recently signed by teams in the oil-rich country, and more players, including Hakim Ziyech, Marcelo Brozovic, and Sergio Ramos, are anticipated to follow.

During this time, reports have surfaced that Saudi Arabia is interested in Barcelona's star Robert Lewandowski.
In fact, according to a claim by Polish writer Tomasz Wlodarczyk, Saudi Arabia offered Lewandowski a massive contract for €150 million annually.

The 34-year-old immediately rejected the offer and made clear that he had no desire to engage in transfer negotiations with the Middle Eastern country.

The Poland captain is not interested in moving on from Barcelona, where he has established himself as a "untouchable" after a successful debut season.

Lewandowski recently dismissed the Saudi Arabian interest out of hand when asked about it in an interview, saying:

Such a subject didn't exist. I thus don't consider it because there isn't a topic, so why should I? especially considering the length of my contract. I am aware of the events in Arabia.but I'm not concerned about it right now because I have other priorities.

Lewandowski ended his first season in Spain with a return of 33 goals across all competitions after moving to Barcelona from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2022.

His 23 goals in La Liga not only helped the Catalans win the league championship, but also brought him the coveted Pichichi Trophy.

Lewandowski has a deal with Barcelona that goes through 2026 with an additional year of option, and he has no intention of leaving anytime soon.
