Trouble at my treatment session last Monday which could have turned into a weeping day for a reason

Trouble always happens with the assigned dialysis machine for me, I just have to be "patient" about it and let with my benefit of the doubt as always to my nurses which could fix it somehow by themselves without calling the technician of the clinic which happens to be not around when needed. Just a part of my life already.

The dialysis machine which I was assigned to use each time I visit for my treatment session is always presenting its faulty processes. They always put the bad machine in my spot not to mention the bad lazy boy chair which already is hurting my back nit because of its faulty leg rest but also the worn-out foam at its back side which makes my back touch the hard part and it causes me discomfort while I am getting my treatment session for four hours. That is why I couldn't wait for my dialysis treatment to end so that I can already escape that position where I can't position my back to a more comfortable state because I have to keep my arm secured and immobile for a while or it will cause the machine to make an alarm. I am actually having a bad feeling and upset about being placed on that faulty seat and the faulty dialysis machine because of the inconveniences which disenfranchised me with my own comfort and well-being considering that I am a paying patient too. I just keep my feeling of resentment to myself because I can never do anything about it considering that I have no more option to go to other dialysis centers or clinics considering that the new ones are manned by new nurses which doesn't have enough experience, talents and skills necessary to fix things if they are present with such issues regarding a faulty machine and how to make a way to fix it without relying to others and that thing is really important for me because of my own state of being a long-term patient and by being different compared tot he state of health of other patients.

Even the Lazy boy chair which I am using was faulty with its defective leg rest and its worn-out foam hurting my back already.

Now the case which happened on Monday had made me to worry again because of course, I needed my dialysis treatment session to get completed because it is so important for me. I sensed that the machine was in trouble at first sight of the end of treatment time for the patient that uses the same machine, it is delayed compared to the other patients. Then I overheard that the nurses was talking about its regular fault issue of not reading the bicarbonate solution which comes in gallons which the machine uses along with that other solution which I think was a citric acid or such. Anyway I already felt anxiety over it because it will mean that either I will get a bad dialysis session, make to use the other dialysis machine, or whatever decision which the nurses would do and I was contemplating and getting upset about it already. So it happened, the damn machine could read the bicarbonate solution and so the nurse which was assigned to prepare it is already getting frustrated as I do in shaking the sucker tube which is a part of the dialysis machine that sucks the bicarbonate solution. Then the nurse he had the idea to disassemble it and then discovering that there was a filter part inside the handle of the sucker tube and it was clogged and dirty. .Meanwhile before that, while he was busy on it trying to fix it, I did asked him what was going on which is my way of telling him that I was aware of there was a problem already, he just relied that he is already fixing it up and that's all. So after discovering what was the primary cause of the problem which was that filter on the handle of the sucker tube, the nurse had proceeded in cleaning that filter. After reassembling it all, the machine finally detected the bicarbonate solution and so the dialysis made a peculiar "ready" sound along with showing a green light because it is already detecting the presence of the bicarbonate solution because the issue of a clogged filter for the sucker tube was fixed already and it gave me a sense of relief finally.

All the while, that faulty dialysis machine is plagued with just a simple problem of a clogged basic filter which fixed the problem of not being able to detect the bicarbonate solution being used by the machine to clean the blood.

I felt a sense of relief even though my session got delayed compared to the other patients that arrived after me as the clinic has this first come first served rule. Then while being wheeled out from the clinic, I had a bleeding on my arm which delated my way out although it also got fixed fast by replacing the dressing to stop the bleeding. Well, I just hope that the other nurses have learned about it or they discussed about it during their conference where they just shortly discuss what went on for the recent and current state of each and every patient after and during including what transpired for the set of patients treated from the last batch the day before and identifying the problems that needs to be addressed and fixed for each patient. Learning how to fix things about the dialysis machine's problem is what I want them to learn because of course it is important for patients to get dialyzed considering that I am not getting the best clean with the type of settings that the main nurse had done for me in that current dialysis clinic which I am getting my treatment sessions. Luckily again I finished my session, the dialysis machine is not anymore making an alarm about not getting bicarbonate solution where it usually does everytime that my session is nearing its termination time and so I thank God that he gave that particular nurse the wisdom to fix it otherwise I could have experienced another bad dialysis session time which just means, poisoning.

My normal day is being intoxicated so much that I long for another treatment session because of the smell of ammonia from my breath, that is how poisoned I am on a daily basis all these times.
