The heavy monsoon rains devastated many areas including our house which got flooded already

This is to show high high the flood water came to submerge our house's flooring.

Prior to our journey for my dialysis treatment this is the point that my flip-flops can still manage the already getting high flood, a few minutes later I have to use my heavy rubber boots.

The moment that flood water is seeping out from the cracks and crevices of my room alone. All the crack sin our flooring did the same.

By the time that we got home the flood inside our house is already baseboard of the wall-deep and my wheelchair is frightened because of it.

It was already raining heavily even before the time that we left the house for our journey to the dialysis center. All are still ok until the rain was incessantly pouring down while I was hooked at my dialysis machine.

We got stranded at this point so I called a rescue mission from our Barrio council Captain, My brother, and my sister who are in their homes. My brother contacted our local church we call "worker", an equivalent of a Pastor or a priest or priestess which also swiftly sent a rescue mission of their own.

We got rescued after getting stranded in a flooded area coming from my dialysis treatment yesterday thanks to Good, our Barrio captain, the friendly driver, and my local church who also offered rescue thanks to God because of my brother who also contacted them.

I am still thankful that raindrops are not that heavy coming from the Typhoon and I just hope that it will stay like this and will never get more severe unlike in some areas here in my country where it already claimed seven precious lives already. One barrio that I know of is getting flooded already because it was posted in Facebook by one of my former classmate in high school and it was like that everytime that it will rain for some time in their area. His house maybe have a lower flooring area or it just might be that he is also a victim of climate change as well. I had talked to several people already that their area had been not like that before but now it is different, like for example I had a short talk with one of my nurses at the dialysis clinic where I was asking her if their house would already get flooded if it would just rain normally, I mean not really that strong as if it was already caused by a continuous rainfall as heavy like that caused by a Thunderstorm. She replied back that even with light rains the surrounding area where they live (they live within a subdivision) gets to be flooded fast even if there is no high tide. Their area is already a coastal town here in our province which means that they are indeed living in the lowest parts of my country which is why even high tides would cause the streets to get flooded. She added that outside their subdivision, there was a rice field which the owner used to cultivate rice on it, but many years ago it got flooded and the water never receded afterwards. Now I believe that the rice farm field is either already abandoned if not converted into a mudcrab farm which is one of source of income of former rice farmers in their town. So because of these changes about how climate change really affected many of the people living more particularly in the low regions of my country is a reminder that if we humans will not do a solution about the global implications of not doing anything substantial to fight climate change, the savageness of its aftereffects will greatly come back to us one severe level at a time. I am a living witness about it myself because I already had grown enough and lived for quite sometime now that I can already compare the difference from where I was just a young child up to now.

It seems now that the rain is getting heavier and the cracks and crevices on the floor and below the walls are already springing with flood water so it got me thinking that it might get worse and it did because by the moment that we got out from the house and into the road, the rain went down in intermittent fashion like there will be a lull in-between the heavy downpour of rains. So it will be like that, the rains stops and then the sky will turn dark and already giving an ominous sign that it will gonna rain again and heavy because this is not an ordinary thunderstorm that we were experiencing lately where it will bring rain but it will not be enough to cause major flooding and it only happens during night time where the moist air or clouds above would get to be cooled down which condenses the moisture into tiny little droplets until they converge together by bumping to one another where they get positively charged and by the time it was happening they are already falling in the ground as rains while getting discharged with their electrons as soon as the negatively charged ground comes closer while they are dropping and it creates lights and sounds we call lightning and thunder.

But this series of heavy rainfall is from a southeast Monsoon which is being pulled by the passage of the Typhoon whatever it name is but it is a weak Typhoon but these weak typhoons are already known to cause heavy rains. I saw the news of one interview involving an authority from the weather bureau and he was stating that the heavy rains which we are still experiencing today here in the main Island of my country is a past Typhoon Ondoy-level of degree, that is why some places in Metro Manila went totally submerged and I am talking about some house' second floor is already touching the height level of the flood. The heavy rains also are overwhelming some of the dams which unfortunately must let-out as much water that it has to to of course prevent its structural integrity to get compromised because Dams have their own capacity to hold and control their water reserves and if it is needed, no mater what is the circumstance are, they have to spill-out the excess water or else, another devastation will hit the population including a cut to the electricity that they produce if the are equipped with hydro-electric power generator.

The dams have also a major role in worsening the already dire situation in the lower level areas and it is the reason why the river and water ways for rice farms which gets swollen in the process which is why some of the roads closer to these rivers would have a current which is often enough to make it impassable for the many vehicles where only big vehicles like trucks are the ones that can only wade through or cross them. Now what happened to me and my parents yesterday was we are still able to reach our destination and we got lucky to change our path because the "short-cut" that we are always using before to avoid the traffic on the main hi-way was already in deep flood water which already made it impassable especially with the old car that we are using. That is why I do not like to buy cars if I wanted or need to buy a service vehicle for the reason that the weather conditions, the nature of the road, and the need for a car that has a higher ground clearance are the factors which I am considering. But cars with higher ground clearance are SUVs if not trucks and the command a high price if not gas guzzlers themselves. But If I will be practical, I might buy the same service vehicle (Toyota FB or L300) that we used for our rescue as shown in the moving picture above where I converted a video that I took showing me and my parents in that Toyota service vehicle for your reference on how spacious it is. That particular vehicle has an enough ground clearance to wade across knee-high level of flood which cars cannot simply drive through or else it will ruin the car and destroy its electronic parts including the engine itself. You night as well stay stranded and not move your car anymore or put it into a higher ground before asking for a rescue because with the type of flooding that we get from Monsoon rains, even the service vehicle as high as my barrio's service vehicle can only do much for the reason that some flood levels are just too high enough to forget about trying to cross it because the chance is already a zero probability for that in happening unless your vehicle is an amphibious type some sort which I actually think to be a good idea. I wish that Toyota would develop an amphibious vehicle for the masses but I do think that the would not because the market I guess for it is just thin enough and because Toyota needs better revenue, making money out of a vehicle which seems to be funny for everyday use will be a factor for people not to opt-in purchasing it. But sometimes even of your vehicle is as high as a Highlux by Toyota it still would succumb to the passable-enough type of flood in the streets and it would always remind me of forgetting about the style of using a vehicle, I am far more safe and secured if I would purchase a utility vehicle which are also made by Toyota because they are also a very durable kind of transport service where you can make its spacious carriage to be like a mobile home were you can have an ample space for a bed and other important amenities like urinal for ladies or storage spaces because it is a private vehicle anyway and that you will be the only one which will use it which would fit your needs. So I guess that I might consider a compromise of a luxury ride for a sure way of getting from point A to point B without a fuss but with a caveat of a better use case for such option.

It is a big problem for me to achieve my goal of having a safe, secured, and comfortable abode plus a vehicle which is good enough to not give us some transportation problems if bad weather conditions will happen which it will for the rest of my lifetime and maybe until the end of time. Targeting my goals will be very expensive affair, however I still have a big chance of making these set of goals come into reality. Honestly I am just waiting a little more time for hopefully making it a tangible reality with the mercy and blessing of God. It is because of being a crypto-enthusiast myself, I was able to acquire an instrument of opportunity and it is already making me thankful a million times to God already although I cannot truly wait anymore because me and my family is just keeping on experiencing such weather-caused calamities and I am sick and tired of it plus it makes me feel bad for my parents for putting-up with my own misfortune of having to travel a lot because of my medical need to clean-out my blood so that I may live and not die. But we just have to wait and I have a feeling that our wait will be over soon in our favor if God wills it.

These weather conditions is making me think to either live somewhere else because our barrio is not giving us a security to deal with the flood if it would rain because it will always flood now and high enough to make the already elevated road to get overwhelmed which didn't save us from flooding. If the road would get flooded, it means that flooring will get submerged. Because of that if I would be able to build a house, then I will have make it sure to make it high and future-proof it because I personally think that the flooding risk in my town alone will get worse and worse until I can already compare it to get as low as the nearby coastal towns here in my province. Even Metro Manila is within a low part of this main island because it was a long time ago, an area where farmers plant rice and because of that, I am more than sure that it really is prone to flooding particularly now that climate change is a thing, a great big thing that nobody wants to really make a solution for because a major part of the solution means that big businesses will have to make a compromise and nobody in them will ever cooperate because it will mean potential big losses in terms of earning and we are talking about hundreds of billions of revenue and job losses with it. The oil industry will be the main target of the solution for ending the climate change, so because that powerful leaders and businessmen is the major handlers of the oil industry, they have the ultimate big say on what the future hold for the rest of us just to protect their income. The can control key political figures just like a puppet and make legislations or block legislations or laws to favor the interests of these powerful entities and it is already happening even before most of us are born. Money is power indeed and does make politicians turn a blind eye because they are either intimidated by the big businesses or that they already sold their sole and they are just acting to be a good person but in truth, they are just wolves under a sheep's clothing so to speak. Now we all have to contend with the status quo and that nothing will be done because of the reason I just stated and we can only pray for the right leaders to get born to make global changes but again, many leaders are easily manipulated because what really runs the world now and even before is money from those that who got more of it than the rest of the elites in our society. We are under their mercy so now all we can also do is to pray for them, to have a good heart so that they will come to a good decision everytime they have to make it to favor humanity more than it would cater their best selfish interests. However this world tends to lean on the evil rather than in the rightful and justice side of things because of the lust for power and financial gain which are both cannot be taken unto the grave which many people will never come to realize. An individual will part and its possessions a soon as they die and all that they have to show for is how they lived in this world and that's all, so if they had done good while they are still alive, well that would come back to them with good dividends come the final judgement day after a thousand year reign of the Lord Jesus in this world, but if the had been as naughty as the devil, good luck because from that period, to them nobody will give a fuck.
