Last Saturday here in my neck of the woods we went to the nearest laboratory service which we often go for some of my lab test needs because I am not trusting the results given by my hospital because there is a problem with their medical technologist being quite tardy in testing the blood of patients for CBC or complete blood count because sometimes the hemoglobin for example reads "high" while it is not in reality because of the much delayed time prior to being tested. Now once it gets tested it will show some bad readings particularly when hemoglobin and RBC are counted for example.
So I decided to look for another laboratory service that I can rely on for such purpose because obviously I needed a very accurate numbers with the results because for example if my CBC result is high, then I will be compelled to inject an EPO hormone just to raise the levels of hemoglobin blood and EPO injections are not cheap, they still cost an arm and leg considering that their prices now are lower than one-third now for certain brands coming from China and one-fifth of the price that I also used before. There are certain EPO hormone that even costs almost 3,500 PHPesos when I can still walk and submit papers for my requests of medical assistance from my country's Charity service. I was so angry with that "partner" of that branch, the main branch of the Charity service's supposed partner pharmacy because they could have offered a cheaper alternative but the had given us the most expensive EPO in the market which had made my guarantee latter, the letter that states that I can get as many medicines, EPO in particular with corresponding amount that had given to me by the government charity service.
So because of that, I can't really take off from my mind that the partner Pharmacy and some person from the charity service had connived to each other so that each can benefit from servicing patients with medical help through large sales from the said Pharmacy and kick-back from that sale for some person from the charity service. I am not really surprised because there of course many forms of graft from the government particularly when money changes hands. So the poor recipients from government services are always affected. The paranoid side of me just wants to see it that way but it was a long time ago when I can still go to Manila riding a commuter Bus and Jeepney back and forth until I finally stopped because my body is no longer cooperating with me. So with regards to their system in the government charity service now, there are many changes already including of course the ones that runs this country and the charity service's radical changes of their system for offering assistance for the people in need.
With regards to my complete blood count test result, I also had asked my nurses tp give me a request about the test for my creatinine level, that protein breakdown by-products in the blood which is toxic to the body where high levels can give affect your brain if not making you feeling sick all the time with nausea and vomiting. I also had my blood tested for it because it is higher compared to the last test result that I got considering that I am not eating much foods like protein which could raise it up and that I am using a high flux dialyzer which is supposed to be enough to almost cleanse my blood to at least 2 or maybe 3 but this recent test gave me 5! considering that I had my dialysis on Friday and by the time I got tested, the creatinine level in my blood is already 5 at Saturday morning!
It makes sense because I am really feeling like I am under-dialyzed for the reason that I still feel like I have eaten and that I no longer feel much hunger unlike before. It just means that not so much sugar is cleansed from my blood and that explains or should I say "the evidence" that I was not really getting a quality dialysis for many years already. So now the result shows that it was the case and it causes me to have a feeling of resentment over my dialysis nurses. But I am stuck over there because it is the only cheapest dialysis clinic that I can go with regards to giving dialysis service for me as a patient with underlying liver condition while other services are not good although you are not required to pay in the case of our provincial hospital where the service is not good because of the fact that it is free which sacrifices quality which public hospitals are well known for my country. But overall it is up to the patient how it would use the public hospitals like for example, when I went to the big public hospital which is actually "semi-private" where patients can choose a private service if they can pay, or public where they can receive a grant from its charity service to let it pay for the corresponding billing charges to the patient who availed it. More often those that availed are really 100% covered and the only difference was their accommodation, they are often put in a ward with only curtains separating the beds and it is often noisy and you have to use a commode rather than a real toilet, at least from the semi-private hospital that I went into last April this year.
Now with my test results with regards to my complete blood count (CBC), the hemoglobin levels is said to "high" for me but normal for normal people. It means that I will no problem in oxygenating my blood and for me it means that I can recover fast from hypotension if it will happen if not very tolerant in hypotension because my blood is very good on oxygenating my body's cells because of the "high" hemoglobin levels. I already experienced it when my blood pressure for to 40 Systolic and still I am aware and not finding it to be causing much trouble, I did recovered quickly and because I have a lower discharge blood pressure reading compared to other patients which is the blood pressure reading which is enough for me to be discharged already, I went home with just 100 Systolic blood pressure.
I am quite surprised that it had gone high that high considering that I happened to stop using EPO around the month of August where the last 4 EPO injections had happened at around the first week of September. My normal hemoglobin levels are around 120 or sometimes 117 or 119 but now it is still is up at 149, one of the head nurse upon hearing my results said that it was high. Even though my hemoglobin is high, I am still not finding my appetite to improve. Usually many years ago when I gat blood transfusions, my appetite goes back from being plain bland where foods doesn't have any taste for me anymore and back to being good where after dialysis I can still eat cooked an eggplant adobo.
I am really baffled on why my appetite is this poor, it could be because of the quality of my dialysis or I could be missing-out on certain vitamins. Now I went online to buy vitamin Methyl B12 with Methyl Folate with vitamin B6 and the reason is that I might be lacking in these particular vitamins so I chose to buy the variant which can be more absorbed by my guts. I think that it might work to give me a better appetite so that I can be able to improve my weight and not like this which is really hard for the eyes to look at or by being a tasty bones for some stray cat to mint and much upon.
My test result also had showed some several elevations in my monocytes and the groups of cells which is elevated. it just means that I have an infection that my body is still struggling to fight with although my body's white blood cells are normal. I can attribute these elevations to be associated with my liver because I have a viral liver disease and I have yet to see how my liver function is doing by getting tested for elevations of SGPT and SGOT, if those are elevated then I am sure that my liver is already failing until I show signs and symptoms of it.
I addition to my suspected vitamin B12 and Folate deficiency, it can be seen on the lower right side of the CBC test result which might indicate many things other than being deficient in Vitamin B12. But because my appetite is still worse and my fingernails had been showing signs of nutritional deficiency, I concluded that I really am deficient considering my diet is not very variant and I seldom eat beef and the foods that are rich in vitamin B12. Not only that, I also am showing signs of neurological hiccups like for example when I am writing, I can write a different word rather than what I want to type or like when I am trying to countdown the remaining time of my dialysis session, I will forget the next number and I will forget the count where I stopped. Upon carefully self-analyzing these things that are going through in my body, I said to myself "it is still not too late to make changes and there is a time to maybe reverse if not cure it completely" which is why I had the idea to solve some of my body's issues which are subtly progressing and I have to stop it on its tracks or I will suffer degeneration of my nerves like my brain and even my eyesight for that matter, no wonder that my eyesight is now bad unlike before and I am not surprised now because yes also have nerves in them which are more susceptible to damage from like an issue with vitamin deficiency like vitamin B12, Folate, and B6.
Bitcoin Bull Run Hard Breakthrough
As of the moment of this writing I am dazzled up the fact that Bitcoin cannot break the hard resistance level of 38K. There are many big traders of Bitcoin which probably shorts the market or whatever because the price of BTC is like it is trying to break a door but the door is seemingly like made from iron, it just can't budge through like an angry bull trying to get out from its pen to gore that annoying Matador's ass. The altcoin's in the other hand like a mirror would almost get to some sweet price but also goes up and down like needles of an ECG machine on a rolling graph paper.
My own inkling is that if the month of December starts, the price of Bitcoin would let go, the Santa rally starts and anybody with liquid tokens can finally sell their tokens partly or totally based on their price targets. Well that is what I am thinking about like we are a sheep where some big entities pays on these prices at a certain point in time simply because the rally associated with the month of December happens like clockwork in many instances already. However it is still good to see the price of BTC in this current sub 38K levels but truly it will not stay there and must heed for its inevitable calling to surpass BTC's all-time high prices to at least double in the final peaks of prices with regards to the halving event. So if it would be pumping this December, what more before the month of April next year where the halving event will happen and the months after that.
So it will be like a year-long event of celebrations and profiting spree where holders of cryptocurrencies are given the opportunity to sell their collected coins to realize their gains and being happy about it. The fact that this events are perpetually happening is what makes the cryptocurrency holder happy for as long as their coins are still valid and still supported by its developers and the community behind it. We are all assured by the fundamentals of Bitcoin, eventually and in long-term it will gain and gain value because it is getting a supply shock each and every halving cycle no matter what the current state of financial problems that the world has or many FUD around BTC lingers, the price of Bitcoin will continue to rise and rise with always giving many people a chance to buy lower with regards from its all time high price levels to enable people to double their money once BTC doubles its price every year on average.
