Something happened after my dialysis session which I was expecting to happen last Sunday here in my country and it was about my blood pressure reacting to the treatment, it had gone down to 110 from 130 Systolic. That has a meaning for me because it means that something just triggered that "phenomenon" because usually my blood pressure would stay at 120 Systolic after dialysis which just for me means that the dialysis treatment quality is just bad that my blood pressure didn't react because in my opinion the blood pressure should react if things like sodium, other toxins, and glucose was somewhat cleaned better compared to the treatments that I was getting before. It was confirmed after getting home I felt that I want to eat already and even though my mother had evaporated most of the top part of the rice which had made it tough, I can still enjoy my meals and an evidence that my blood has been cleaned at least much better and it will mean that I will now have a better sense of well-being and hopefully lower my creatinine as well as the nausea-causing nitrogen compounds and by-products associated with eating protein and wasting of muscle tissues which I am also prone of having because of my immobility issues. In short my blood is getting more quality clean factor although I believe based on my past dialysis sessions in the hospital last year in Manila that I am receiving way more less quality compared to where I am getting my dialysis treatments currently. However I will take this kind of improvement because I needed it so bad so that I will not feel much sick in-between dialysis sessions.
A couple of years ago I decided to get rid of few of my teeth because either they are not functioning or fulfilling their use or they are heavily rotten cause by being parted-away for a long time because of the enlargement of my face due to my Leontiasis condition as a bone complication which is in the first place rooting from high elevations of Phosphorus in my blood which caused imbalances of calcium in my blood. It than activated my Parathyroid glands to sense that I do not have enough Calcium in my blood so it made my bones to leach out Calcium to my bloodstream thereby effectively weakening my bones and then I develop Kyphosis and Leontiasis at the same time. These bone conditions suck because it causes me pain, disfigurement, and handicap as well as being more shy to mingle with people because of my horrid appearance, people just rubbernecks whenever I would pass-by because you know, people are still curious and most kids are very not very normal now to begin with and having troubles in interacting with other people let alone being polite for that matter. Anyway, developing Leontiasis is one of the most difficult bone condition that a human can ever experience, well based on my experience particularly of it is caused by an overactive Parathyroid gland which is located in the four corners of the Thyroid gland. Often they take off much of these glands if the level of its hormones is quite too high because otherwise people will suffer from pain and then develop what happened to me. The surgical operation is quick but it has a risk of its own which if it will not be addressed will cause the patient to die because of the lack of calcium in the blood for the reason that the "new" Parathyroid has lesser capacity to activate the bone to leach out calcium to the blood. That is why with such operation the health professionals would take off parts of the Parathyroid glands, measure the amount of parathyroid hormone in the blood of the patient by taking a sample for test. So if it is still high they take off some more until they come-up with a result which is a normal level of amount which cannot cause bone pain and bone weakening issues much less the development of Leontiasis Ossea which is the extreme and final result of uncontrolled, mismanaged bone care or lack thereof, or ignored symptoms because of lack of understanding and awareness which all happened to me and now even my teeth suffered in the process.
I can only hope that my teeth and the rest of my bones would recover because of my Vitamin K2 MK-7 use because that vitamin along with other nutrients which I needed in order to put calcium to my bones rather than leach calcium from my bones happens, the opposite of what a secondary hyperparathyroidism does. That is why I still have a hope in my heart that my bones will not degrade more than I am thinking. Anyway as my facial bone enlarged, it created spaces in my gums in the upper and in the lower part of my teeth. Brushing them during the peak of my Leontiasis makes them bleed so with frustration I decided no to brush my teeth for about two years I can't remember. During that time I also refused to even look at my face and also what my mouth had transformed into because I am also plagued by so much pain in my body. One day I decided to examine my teeth and upon seeing what circumstances had done to my once good set of teeth of course made me feel sad to what I have to deal with. Some of my teeth doesn't have anymore calcium in them, the rotted from inside and I was lucky enough not to experience pain because the rot hadn't gone to the nerves yet. Some of my teeth broke from the gum line because the rot around it chopped it up like a tree, so one day while I was eating, one of those teeth fell. I also happen to swallow part of my molar teeth while I was eating the "Chicharon" part of the fried pork leg (which is not that hard to begin with) and then afterwards the chipped molar gave me gum swelling and irritation whenever I chew my food in that part of my mouth so "it has to go out too" I said to myself. Most of the frontal teeth had been deemed useless because they do not function anymore about chewing my food and so I decided to go to the dentist to root them out one by one.
I thought that the dentist can take them all out at the same time but she didn't and I was asked to come back after two weeks or a month or even longer time until I was able to take most of them. All the while my nurses discontinued my use of Heparin during those periods from the time that my first tooth got yanked out until my last session which does not include this morning. The none use of Heparin after tooth extraction is their way of preventing bleeding while the patient is being treated with dialysis so what they will do is to flush the blood in 30 minutes intervals so that blood would not coagulate on top and in the dialyzer membranes. I went on to use this procedure for more than two years now and not knowing that it has a big impact on the quality of the cleaning that my blood gets from my dialysis so I decided a fe days ago that if when my Nephrologist comes by again to examine us her patients in the treatment area that I will request to her to bring me back in using heparin in the hope that my blood will get to be cleaned up better. It did what I am expecting because after going home I was able to eat much better than before, it is an indication that the dialysis process is much different now compared to what I was getting with the "flushing technique" and it of course made me happy that at least the problem of a bad quality cleaning is quite solved because I can tell it. I am expecting my creatinine levels along with my blood urea nitrogen (BUN), blood uric acid (BUA),a nd phosphorus levels to get down as well so it indeed made me happy because it will raise my level of well-being thanks be to God.
