Me and my brother made my mother to consult a Rheumatologist

Yesterday I contacted my brother and told him to ask her former doctor that she had consulted before to refer my mother to the Rheumatologist so that we can know what really my mother's illness is which is making her joints ache. My mother told me prior that she couldn't walk anymore because of the pain in her knees, her shoulder, and her upper-back and causes her to moan and groan because of the pain.

I cannot bear the pain that my mother experiences right now which is why I was I needed to solve my mother's situation. My brother is quick to respond and took heed of my request because it is my mother's stake that we are talking about. I told my brother about the supposed doctor that he would take my mother to and that is from the hospital city near our town where I had my appendectomy before and the same tertiary hospital that I first had my dialysis.

That hospital is a private hospital because I couldn't trust public hospitals around here especially with my mother's case that we do not know what is causing it. My brother is just swift to take action and contacted the said specialist doctor but not from the city which I am referring to because the number cannot be contacted from the hospital's website but instead to another "Adult Rheumatologist" from another hospital two towns away from us.

Now my mother is already scheduled for an appointment over the doctor's clinic for today and I am happy about it. I told my mother that I will give money to my mother to be spent on her laboratory tests which I am sure that the doctor will request for her to be done for a proper diagnosis of my mother's condition so that hopefully my mother can get a relief that she needs.

I also told my brother to tell the doctor that she already had gone the former laboratory tests that got done before but all of it are ok but still my mother is still ill because no treatment was done except for her to take temporary pain relievers and vitamins plus calcium supplement and that's all and that we wanted to know what is really making my mother's joints to gradually get into an unbearable painful condition.

I am sure that it is not about a weak bone because my mother is quite active because in fact she has more strength compared to the people with the same age. She also has a better mental acuity and only her appearance changed through these pat years. It is just her complaints are her body pains where she told us that she often feels this mild flu-like symptoms later particularly now with the onset of her pains that I suspect to be coming from an autoimmune condition but of course I am not sure.

I also still have to know about my mother's thyroid condition if it is still ok or not because my mother has a history about a bad thyroid and can also make her body ache like which has today. Currently she is taking some Celecoxib for her pain which is why to helps her to move around although she cannot do work anymore like walking far because of her knee pain.

I am praying for my mother's health, I just want her to be around because as I have said before, her mere presence is enough for me to be happy especially if she is not feeling ill and strong all the time. Nobody wants to see their loved ones suffering, I am more than happy to be the one feeling ill than seeing the ones around me feeling sick at some point, may God heal my mother.
