My Aunt and her clan, i.e., my cousins and some of their family members had visited us yesterday and we had a great time together. That Aunt of mine had been here many times over compared to my other relatives, it is because when she was younger it was my mother who took care of her younger siblings, so she likes to come-by our house like nowadays that my cousin has a car that they can use for their travel escapades.
I bought some special food for us to eat together like boxes of pizza and other foods plus some ice cream as a treat. Not all of my siblings and their families are present because one of my nephew was at the hospital at that time that got sick by what was suspected to be a dengue fever, that sickness that comes from a bite of Mosquito, but it was later confirmed that it was not the case, so my Nephew got discharged from the hospital faster after some bloodwork tests.
My mother later in the day had visited my brother to check on my Nephew and she brought along some rice cake logs wrapped in Banana leaves (Suman) which my Aunt had given us as their welcoming gift. This traditional food stuff is unique to their province because it already has sugar so we do not need some sugar to dip it into unlike the regular "Suman" as we call it here.
Anyway, after my pizza order got delivered, I was not planning to have some because, it has cheese while I can forgive its rather saltiness. My mother gave me a slice and the slice was indeed big as I ordered three large-sized pizzas and they are all 18" in diameter and my mother happened to give me one slice.
Well of course the pizza is on my side table already and I couldn't just send it back so I thought I will just take a couple of Calcium carbonate as a phosphate binder for the phosphorus content of this pizza because of its one main ingredient which is the cheese. I ordered three flavors but only two boxes were consumed and what was left was the Hawaiian which has some pineapple bits on it.
Later before my Aunt and cousins go back home< I was able to order some ice cream for us t eat together since we haven't prepared any dessert food for the visitation occasion and buying ice cream is the only option to do it which everybody likes anyway. Thankfully I have a reliable app to the job and it got delivered fast as I had paid to set it in priority. The two liter ice cream is just enough for all of us to have a fair share although my mother again gave me some which I couldn't resist in having one again and I only took a tablet of calcium to at least not absorb the phosphorus from the milk it contains.
