This is the brans of empty capsules that I use.
It is one bag of 1000 empty capsules of size "0".
It took a few hours for me to separate the capsule heads and the body.
Filling the capsule heads too its tray. This is how it looks.
Putting the middle tray unto the capsule head tray after filling the slots with capsule heads.
Filling the capsule body to its tray and this is how it looks.
We now fill the capsule body with Moringa powder, we use the scraper to distribute the Moringa powder evenly.
We have to use the compactor so that we can fill as much Moringa powder into the capsules, we do it several times until we cannot put anymore powder into the body of the capsules.
Filled-up capsules prior to joining the capsule heads.
This is how it looks before pressing the capsule heads and the filled-up body of the capsules together, we have to press it firmly.
I've made another batch of my Moringa capsules because I am already running low in supply. This time around I separated all of the 100 size "0" capsules which is supposed to contain 500 mg or so of Moringa powder in it, this size is the second largest size where the size "00" is the biggest and must be used for its corresponding capsule maker/machine.
I separated all the 1000 pieces of empty capsules with its head and body so that the next time I will again make my Moringa capsules I will not be bothered again in spending a lot of time in separating the empty capsules prior to doing the steps in making the Moringa capsules. Maybe its high time that I have to purchase an already separated capsule heads and body so that I can just save time and effort. That is why I am watching YouTube videos while working on it so that I will not get bored in doing the work.
Another back-breaking step was to fill-up the corresponding trays with its capsule parts. The number of slots per tray is 100 and I have to fill them up manually both for the capsule head tray and then the tray for the body of the capsule prior to filling-up the body with the Moringa powder. So it takes time to also finish that work, so in total I have to fill-up 800 capsule slots in total and you can just imagine how long it will take to do that.
I have to really do that manually so that I will not get some errors like putting the wrong capsule part to the slots because it will mean a big mess. Considering that I would part he capsule heads and body prior, I still accidentally put the wrong part in its corresponding bag. So I have to really make it sure to do a perfect job in order to make a successful batch after batch of completed capsules.
It is actually an enjoyable work to do, it is just my back is not fit for the job and because of that I would suffer from back pain. That is why I felt bad after finishing considering that I also have to clean-up the capsule machine after. But of course I am happy after making the batch because it means that my next meals will again be nutrient-dense regardless of the type of meals that I will eat because this superfood will give me the nutrients that I need until I have to make another batch again.
These look great so good to see you taking care of your health
