I thought that the temperatures will not get cool but I was wrong, it still went cold so much that I have to turn-off my mini-fan in certain instances during the day because otherwise it will be too cold for comfort. I am only using a mini-fan to cool me off especially in conditions like this where if you use a regular fan, then you will surely die from hypothermia. With regards to taking a shower in the morning prior going for my dialysis session, I am still tolerating the cold shower. I guess that my normal hemoglobin levels is serving me a much needed resistance to cold if I would take a shower but it is still cold considering that I am spending more time in showering our being wet because of my limited body movement capacity and my way of taking a bath, it does take time like a little more than thirty minutes because I have to make sure that I will get a very thorough cleaning with my own method, sort of like being obsessive compulsive about it.
Then I would carefully guide my way to the bathroom and keeping my balance not to trip over. Thankfully the towel bar that I got installed at the wall and that aluminum organizer above the toilet serves me great for making them a support when I walk so that I will be able to keep my balance because without them it will be dangerous for me to walk a very short distance from the shower area of our bathroom/toilet and to the door where I also have to handle the towel bar while drying myself because I needed it to maintain my balance. After reaching that point I am already breathless because of all of that scrubbing "work". Showering before dialysis is really not as easy as it sounds because of being waterlogged already, my lung's capacity to draw air in is greatly reduced because of fluid build-up below the lungs and inside it too and further pushing my lungs up and reducing its size and capacity to oxygenate my blood. The result is breathlessness from which I have to sit around for a few minutes before it goes away.
My good blood count is one big factor that gives me resistance to such stresses to my body because otherwise my heart will get affected by enlargement, the effect of hardworking heart which in turn make it beat less to the extent that it will fail eventually. That is why I can never be so liberal of the amount of fluids that I can consume because in effect it will make me gain more water weight because of a series of backlogs of unwithdrawn water from my body. The resulting volume in my blood would certainly add more load to my physical heart which will cause it to enlarge, affects my well-being until I might not even tolerate dialysis until my dialysis session quality is affected and all these things will lead to my rather "early" demise which I do not yet want to happen for the reason that I have big goals in my life to achieve and also because that it is still good to live despite that it is still hard, well particularly for me with all of these problems that I can never breakthrough.
Newer Smartphone technology
I recently learned that the Samsung S24 has this translation feature where communication between two language as a barrier is quite made an improvement. It is powered by AI like for example, AI can help you edit a photo with much ease, filling up "gaps" where normal editing would find impossible to do. With regards to enhancing communication, let's say for example that you are calling a person and you wanted the words coming from his mouth to be written as a record and translated in your own words, it can be done now. So being able to do that in a Smartphone is really outstanding to say the least because it is useful for some group of people who really wants to break language barriers when they are travelling abroad and will catch the attention of certain niche of people wanting that kind of special feature in their in their Smartphones to help them out more.
Well of course if you do not need such features and more from Samsung S24, you can still have it if you buy the product. Right now of course it will be selling like you had bought a real property because of its whopping introductory price but from some people it is not an issue because they can afford it regardless. These profound features really comes with a price because before it is added-on, a thorough research and development is done before it gets implemented and added to newer Smartphone models like for this example, by Samsung. It costs so much money for such process and so that is why they can command a higher price for their S-series of Samsung smartphones. I heard that it will be a service where they will charge for a subscription because they are still honing it as we speak to provide a more enhanced function to weed-out the errors of translating in terms of correct context of the wordings. So surely it will all come with a perpetual payment through subscription basis otherwise there will be no way of almost perfecting these new features of Samsung which I think is a very good use case on why people should sometimes opt-in for a thing that we can only imagine in the past but now is a reality.
Soon there will be more exciting features that we can enjoy or at least in the next generation of people or even within our own generation because technology is really getting so fast now that every years there might be more special features of Smartphones that would enhance our lives more. Right now, even with my late model phone, it is enough for me to do some things that I needed to do. I am not a gamer nor I watch videos from the Internet, I just post some of my blogs and also do some shopping on my phone and nothing more. So what more that I can do if I would have more features on my phone to make my life even more easier? I think that this technologies will come continuously to the betterment of the lives of people for their needs of varying degrees of communication for example where maybe people can call, text, and videocall via Satellite which I know will come and change many ways for improvement in our lives, the Pandora's box for a greater high technology had been already opened.
I'm Still going to church online
I am glad that my church where I belong is still making the online option of going to church possible. Maybe they already knew that certain sectors of the church like the weak, old, the sick, the elderly, and some other church members cannot attend physically which is why this rather "unheard of" way of attending church services is retained. Before this kind of method got implemented, a church "worker" which is an equivalent of a priest or poster will drop by at our home either twice or thrice a week to let me catch-up last week's church activities. He/she will bring a copy of what transpired during the prayer Meeting, Worship Service, and weekly Thanksgiving using a CD to put in our CD player to play it and later a USB device to plug at our LED TV so that we can watch it together. This system went on for a few years until the pandemic came because the lockdowns had prevented the church "Servants/workers" to travel and go inside homes to prevent the spread of CoViD.
Our church leaders had came-up with a solution to attend church online and relying on the benefit of the doubt that church members would watch the live and recorded church services although every church members wants it because there are no other way of attending church but via online at that time for the reason that we wanted to obey the health authorities and our awareness of the impact or the effect of CoViD to human health. So what happened is that local churches would get links via Social media groups given by local Servants which they got from central authorities of the church and so in that way we can just watch the live and recorded broadcast in the safety of our homes without needing the physical presence of the our district workers or church servants. It worked for me until now and I am solely relying on it because as of the moment I can never tolerate the long hours of sitting because of my back, I would always prefer to lay down because it is easier to my back to avoid the torture of pain developing as I watch the long hours of watching our church services.
