These are still my old worn-out pairs of short and long socks.
The weather bureau already told people here in my country to prepare for the coming months i.e. now until February to expect cooler temperatures. So I had bought long and warm socks because the one that I am using had been worn-out already. I always use those now because it gets so cold in my dialysis clinic which is cold enough to cause me to shiver. So I am making it sure that my legs particularly my feet would get well-insulated with the rest of my body so that I will net feel so uncomfortable while having my dialysis treatment.
I use two blankets to protect my fatless body from what the air-conditioning system gives out from its vents especially about an hour after all the patients had been hooked-up to the machines because they are not much producing hot temperatures anymore. In the patient transition time, all the machines would run hot water to disinfect its system before the next batch of patients gets to be hooked-up for their dialysis and all of the eight dialysis machines cumulatively creates heat which warms-up the dialysis treatment area regardless of the still running A/C system.
The hospital now had been maintaining well the operation of the dialysis clinic's A/C system unlike before because a bad A/C is bad for the dialysis machines which produces heat. Well, of course it is not good for every person in the dialysis treatment area to suffer from drizzling-over with perspiration because it causes exhaustion plus the patients will suffer from complications more than they should. Now at least the administrators has an ample amount of earning from the additional funding coming dialysis treatments payoffs per patient by our government health insurance system to maintain that A/C system and they can even add another one so that a backup is already ready if the other one would stop operating for some reason to avoid inconveniences for all of us.
But about an hour or so when everybody had been settled-down and the nurses are relaxing already and chatting, it gets cooler. Sometimes the nurses adjusts the aircon if it gets too cold especially if one of the patients complains about it. However most of the time the nurses would just give the patient extra blanket or an incandescent lamp which gives-off warm yellow light so that it would help them from suffering the chills.
Sometimes the patient would suffer blood infection because they are using temporary catheter during their dialysis treatment session and because of that they would suffer bad chills but it is not caused by the cold temperatures inside the dialysis treatment room but the nurses still adjusts down the aircon and then give the patient a dose of IV paracetamol to help alleviate the symptoms of blood infection which is the uncontrollable chills.
I fear that event or complication of dialysis treatment and it sometimes happen due to an old or dirty dialyzer which happens from time to time. Sometimes a new dialyzer use can cause it more often than the former for some reason unknown to me considering that it is a new dialyzer because sometimes on the second reuse, it also causes chills. That is why I had used paracetamol everytime I would get hooked for my dialysis but I discontinued it so that my liver won't get strained because paracetamol is bad for the liver even though it might get cleaned or cleared by the dialysis process. Now I am just using paracetamol if I would use a new dialyzer as required by the nurses.
Anyway, I might also look for a warmer blanket which can give me more warmth instead of what I am using now where I have to fold it before it can give me a substantial insulation from cold temperatures. My current blanket that I am using now has looser weave of its threads so because I still have to use electric fan so that it can help me shoo-away mosquitoes, I have to fold my blanket and it gets smaller. Now I needed a bigger blanket that doesn't need to get folded in order to insulate me from this coming cooler months from the remainder of this year until next year until maybe even in the second month of march even.
