This will be my last photos to share about my trip to Durban, I took several shots while I was there I couldn't fit them into a post which kind of give me something to post about anyway, so its all good. 🙂
From the guest house over looking the railway and a fairly dense bush was Melville beach. I would stand from the living room or the balcony and watch the beach from a far...
But I had to go the beach, the urge ran through me and I couldn't deprive myself of being on the beach.
So off I went!
The railway line above I had to cross over first which was no hassle, it was quite with no sign of train approach which gave me time for some shots.
Going through the bush I must admit was okay but scary in the sense that it could be snake territory, I have a phobia of snakes and you don't want to see me sprint when I see one 😄 and thank goodness no snakes to scare me off.
And there was Melville beach, a beautiful quiet beach I was basically alone within the range of +3km on either sides. It was awesome being on the beach again in approximately a year, the sand, the waves, the breeze was a beauty I appreciated briefly. It all took just about 5 minutes from the guest house to the beach, that's how close it was.
