When Ukrainian President Vladimir Zalensky was offered to leave the country after the Russian invasion, his immediate response was, "I don't want a ride, I want ammunition."
He decided to stay in the country, but he did not stay alone, and his wife remained in Ukraine. He decided to stay in the country with his wife, 17-year-old daughter and nine-year-old son.
When President Zelensky said that Russia's next target was his family, attention was drawn to First Lady Olena Zelenska, whose whereabouts are being kept secret for security reasons.

"Right now we need safe routes in the hottest cities in Ukraine," he said. Thousands of children are dying in underground shelters without food and medicine.
Olina's childhood was spent in the central Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Reich, and her husband grew up there.
Olina, 44, studied architecture and law at the city's National University.
But later, with her husband, she entered the world of fine arts and chose the field of screenwriting. Before entering politics, her husband was a law student as well as a budding comedian.
