In the heart of every community lies a cherished tradition that exemplifies unity, cooperation, and a shared sense of purpose. In the Philippines, this tradition is known as "Bayanihan." Rooted in the Filipino culture, Bayanihan is a concept that embodies the spirit of communal effort to achieve a common goal. One such beautiful manifestation of Bayanihan is the construction of a chicken house. In this blog, we will explore the heartwarming practice of coming together to build a chicken house and the significance it holds for communities.
A chicken house serves as a vital component of rural Filipino life, where poultry farming is a common source of livelihood and nutrition. A well-constructed chicken house provides shelter, safety, and a conducive environment for raising chickens. These chickens, in turn, supply fresh eggs and meat for the community, enhancing food security and economic stability.
One of the most remarkable aspects of Bayanihan is the voluntary participation of community members. Everyone, from young to old, contributes their labor. Tasks are divided based on skills and capabilities, ensuring that the workload is evenly distributed.
With the materials and manpower in place, the actual construction begins. The community members work tirelessly, sometimes even singing traditional songs or sharing stories to keep their spirits high. The atmosphere is filled with laughter and camaraderie.
And lastly, the the checkin house we made for our 45 days bantress is finished. We have more or less 3 weeks of working pentakasi for these chekin house so that we can save labor in that checkin house. And heartfelt thanks to those my co member who always spending their time and effort to make our checkin house succefully done today.
