🍌 Classic Banana Bread Recipe 🍞
Ingredients:
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1/3 cup melted butter
3/4 cup sugar (can be decreased to half if it is to be less sweet)
1 egg, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
A pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
Optional Add-ins:
1/2 cup chopped nuts (can use walnuts or pecans)
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Optional: 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon for extra flavor

Instructions are as follow:
Preheat Oven:
Set up the required temperature for the oven at 350°F (175°C). Take a 9x5 inch loaf pan and grease it.
Mash Bananas:
Take out a large mixing bowl and using a fork, mash the bananas until there are no lumps. Add into the bowl the melted butter.
Mix Wet Ingredients:
Into the banana mixture, add in sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Stir until combined.
Dry Ingredients:
Sprinkle baking soda, salt, and then the flour over the mixture, and incorporate the flour gently until it is just blended. Don’t mix it too much, as the banana bread will be heavy or dense.
Optional Add-ins:
If you are adding nuts/chocolate chips or even some cinnamon, add them at this stage to the batter.

Pour the batter into your pre oiled loaf pan. Bake for 50 60 minutes or until a tooth pick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
Cool & Serve:
Once the bread has finished baking, allow it to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes and place the banana bread on a wire rack to cool completely.
