Believing in Astrological Predictions

We Indians are very closely associated with astrology and astrological predictions. When a baby is born, majority of the Indian parents get their horoscope prepared from any reliable person who is in the field of astrology and they will inquire about how the life of the baby is going to be in general. I had done it for my son too when he was born.

I do believe in Astrology and I have also learned basic astrology, so what I can say from that is, we can get to know the destiny points clearly from our chart, but not everything can be interpreted. And a lot of it also depends on our freewill choices that we make. Just for e.g. when my hubby got a job in Muscat and we moved here, I had inquired with my astrologer about how many years will I stay away from home in another country. He had told me 8 years, I got it checked from another one also to double check and that person also gave me the same answer. Now this is my 9th year in Muscat. That does not mean that the predictions were wrong. When we completed 8 years we had a choice to move back and all the circumstances pointed in that direction where there was 99% chance of us moving back to India. In that time we also made a decision of making our home and we needed some extra finances so even though our hearts were not very happy we made a decision to extend our stay by 2 more years.

You see how my own free will altered the timelines. When we get our astrological chart done, there are some points in our life which are meant to happen or not happen and there are some where can influence with our choices. Even when I do my readings I tell the people the same, that the reading is only the highest possibility of happening or not happening but that can be altered by one's actions and determination. A shift in energy and there will be shifts in the outcomes of your life.

Astrology is a very interesting subject and gaining a little knowledge about it is also very useful. When my charts show me difficult period of life, mindfully I go very calm in those periods to not further aggravate the matter and I see that it helps me a lot in difficult times to sail through smoothly.
