The Mouth and Foot Painting Artists Association

Sometimes we think that if we would be disabled in any way how would our world be and we would think that life would never be the same again. But as rightly said all the limitations are of the mind. What we think and perceive we become. So here is this association The Mouth and Foot Painting Artists Association shortly called as MFPA who supports and encourages the disabled in the field of Arts. All the artists in this association are those people who have lost their hands due to some or the other reason and they have mastered the Art work either with their Mouth or with their Foot.

I have been associated with this Institution for some years now and I try to help them financially in whatever way I can. The beauty of this Association is that they raise their funds through their creative ability. Every year they send me a gift pack or whenever I call for it and then I send them a donation whatever I want to. They do price the gift pack which is very nominal, so if onw wishes they can send whatever additional amount they would want.

This is an International Association with their presence in almost 70+ Countries and with more than 800 Artists who are self reliant with their art work. Their work is beautiful and when you look at it you cannot really imagine that it has not been done with the hands.
We think that if we do not have a certain body part we become handicapped but there are many people in the world who have proved this to be wrong and these are the real heroes of our society from who we need to take inspiration and move ahead.

Little setbacks in life and we start complaining, but here are a set of people who have overcome all the obstacles and made themselves self reliant even with their disability. These people do not believe in charity, they want to earn their livelihood with their work and that's a commendable thing.

AT the beginning of the year or whenever I call for they send me an envelope with whatever my request is there and then after that I send them the donation. If anyone would be interested in getting their art work they can contact them on their address or website.

It is always good to support some cause rather then buying things randomly. These people earn their livelihood from the sales of their art, they do very well, but they deserve every bit of it. Their charges are very less hence it is always a good idea to pay them more then what they ask for. If I would go to some store to buy something like this type of art work probably they will charge me 3 to 4 times more then why not pay them and support their work.
