I have suddenly decided to hold a solo exhibition in June.
Thanks to you, I am now much less tired from my solo exhibition in Otsu, but how many times will I have a solo exhibition this year? You may be asking yourself, "How many exhibitions am I going to have this year? I will hold a solo exhibition at Gallery Sorath in Kyoto in June.
This solo exhibition will feature a selection of works from my past solo exhibitions, as well as new and unpublished works.
The title of the solo exhibition is "Repeating detour". I have taken many detours at each milestone in my life, but perhaps I had no choice but to do so after all. And now I am enjoying my life as a painter.
I hope you enjoy the exhibition.
Gallery Sorath moved to a new location near Shijo-Karasuma this year, and now has a space for solo exhibitions. Please enjoy the new Gallery Sorath.

急きょ、６月に個展をすることが決定しました。
おかげさまで大津での個展での疲れはだいぶ取れましたが、いったい今年は何回個展をするんだ、大丈夫か？と思われそうですが、６月に京都のギャラリーソラトさんで個展を開催することになりました。
この個展では今までに開催した個展の出品作品からセレクトしたものを中心に、新作・未発表作を加えた展示となる予定です。
個展タイトルは「遠回りをくりかえし」。私は人生の節目節目で遠回りばかりしてきたな、でも結局そうするしかなかったのかもしれない。そして今の絵描き生活を楽しんでいる、そんな心情を表したものです。
