I’ve always thought my little takeaway coffee. A couple of times a week was pretty harmless until I saw how much are adds up to at the Columbia flower market! This is shocking and really made me think how much just one small street can produce in waste in a few hours.

Way off in the distance a few miles away is a giant mound of trash, that they continue to dump on and burry ... Not too dissimilar from your pics 🥓
No not only we. Corporations producing and promoting this style of life and packing everything in plastic, and then they blame people and telling us that we are a pigs.
this is the same as usual: problem - reaction - solution where they cause problem by producing a lot of plastics and plastics culture, then they telling us that tere is to much waste so they telling us now that we must care more on environment ;]
Yeah supermarket is so bad
I hope that there are people that can recycle those discarded cups of coffee or at least gets recycle by any way possible. They can still be repurposed if they are not biodegradable as a string of small hanging decorative pots for plants or even vegetables or maybe even orchids too for that matter.
It will only take a matter of creativity and some elbow grease, heck if you can make them turn into another useful product like aforementioned, then you will have a small business. 👍
