PORTA.jpg

Hi, friend! Now I want to show you a new oil painting and this time with a relic from another culture, the wonderful Knife of Illimo or Tumi, a splendid work of the Chimú people, they enjoy enormous fame within all the immense pre-Hispanic cultures for being the greatest goldsmiths of Peru, this is the most outstanding work of that great people that today I come to honor very modestly in this painting, here are characters from another culture that influenced it such as the Moche, time later the Chimú would be conquered by the Inkas a whole vast world Andean that is always part of my inspiration.

Work made in oil with a predominance of warm colors in a large part of the central motif and cold colors such as light blue and blue as details of the motif, the brushwork is cared for in a large part of the central motif but with a touch of expressive brushwork in the details of the characters on the sides of the Tumi.
