Painting an Oil Painting: Painting the Aiapaec Deity of the Moche
A cordial greeting to everyone! Now I want to show you one more reason having as inspiration the Moches important characters of my land, the culture of my people with these Andean icons transports me to their past that evokes in me that ancient time that I want at least with my works to recreate the oil and offer a small tribute, the image of the divinity Aiapaec (The Aiapaec was called the maker was the supreme deity of the Moche. He was a punishing god, the most feared and adored, also called the decapitator. Aiapaec was worshiped as the creator god , protector of the Mochicas) here I show it flanked by two warriors, it is one more from my past that I want to interpret with great respect and admiration for being a symbol of my land, each brushstroke of color pays tribute to those beings who were the ones who preceded, I will continue my passion and admiration for the ancient past of my thousand-year-old Peru. Oil painting, Aiapaec Deity, 60x50cm. I hope you like it!
