Pixel Art Avatar #002: "Captain America"

Here's the look that I've been trying to work out, a cartoonish version using pixel art style.

My first try with the Deadpool character looks so awkward and I don't personally like it. This time, I'm quite happy with the result. For this piece, I didn't try to emulate the realistic proportion of the character. I simply fit into the proportion that I think is right with a 16x16 size image. I like how it appeals differently and it looks so unique as well.

Although it doesn't really capture the proper look of Captain America it has the important aspects of the character that will make it recognizable.
