"Travel through a forest of birch trees."
This piece was a defining moment for my pixel art learning. After completing this piece, I realized that this style has so much potential when it comes to the things that it can visualize. I'm really amazed that even a single pixel can have a profound effect on the whole of the image.
The placement of the pixels matter.
I also created a film strip that shows exactly the progress that I made on this piece. Within this strip, there are 6 images that I placed side by side. It's awesome that they blend well together as a single piece.
Lastly, I also made a gif that also shows my progress. Recently, my workflow has changed. Now, I'm already starting with the background and then slowly working on the details and finishing touches. I think this method work best for landscape subjects.
That's it. Enjoy the final result of my pixel art.
