This morning we got a new trailer and a DBS poster. Starting with the pluses - it's nice that this time we didn't get all the key elements in the announcements (in the case of the previous one, we could write most of the plot step by step). Hopefully this trend will continue until the very end and there won't be any long trailer packed with new scenes - if they want to release a new one, let it leave some uncertainty, it will show those good scenes. Ironically, Gohan doesn't look like a clown (it would be good for him to stop being a retard after all - we all remember his performance with Buu), he looks the best of all the characters, the graphics sometimes look good and ... that's it. We got a few new scenes where Piccolo sometimes has different skin colors, a few new shots with Gohan, a close-up on the face of Broly, Beerus etc.There is not much of this good graphics, in my eye it is about 30% - the rest looks like from the PS3 era. If it looks weak or at least disappointing now, we will be mocking it sharply in two years' time. I don't know what led Toei when choosing CGI, it was a moronic decision, which hurts the more that "Broly" still looks great and its only failed elements are ... CGI. I wish them to get the proper consequences in this regard, i.e. negative reviews and lower earnings. It is true that we will probably be able to forget about more down-to-earth climates and we will face more "epic battles on a cosmic scale" (because they will look at Excel and see - well, movies with Freezer and Broly have earned, and this one has not, I wonder why), but I'm at such a stage in my life that all I need is a nice beating after a murder in the form of anime. I have a different anime from the plot.Well, maybe they'll make another movie. This one will probably be a failure, but I hope that there will be at least a few nice scenes, such as Gohan's duel in the rain, which I will be able to watch dozens of times, just like all the combat sequences from the previous one. And that it will have any sense and contribution to the development of lore (as opposed to, for example, "Freezer Resurrection", which is 100% wasted potential and has no advantages). Well, it will be very difficult to repeat ... Although on the other hand, the Japanese have a golden hen which is Dragon Ball, and they do everything to slaughter it instead of profit from it. The premiere in Japan will be in less than 2 months, and a good copy will be available on the Internet before the new year at the latest.
Dziś rano dostaliśmy nowy trailer oraz plakat DBS. Zaczynając od plusów - miło, że tym razem nie dostaliśmy wszystkich kluczowych elementów w zapowiedziach (w przypadku poprzedniego, mogliśmy sobie rozpisać większość fabuły krok po kroku). Mam nadzieję, że ten trend utrzyma się do samego końca i nie będzie żadnego długiego trailera, który będzie napchany nowymi scenami - jeżeli już chcą wypuścić jakiś nowy, to niech pozostawi jakąś nutkę niepewności, pokaże te dobre sceny. Jak na ironię Gohan nie wygląda jak pajac (byłoby dobrze, żeby przestał być w końcu debilem - wszyscy pamiętamy jego występ z Buu), wręcz prezentuje się najlepiej ze wszystkich postaci, grafika czasami wygląda dobrze i... to tyle. Dostaliśmy kilka nowych scen, na których Piccolo czasem ma różne kolory skóry, parę nowych kadrów z Gohanem, zbliżenie na twarz Broly'ego, Beerusa etc.
Tej dobrej grafiki nie ma zbyt wiele, jak na moje oko to tak około 30% - reszta wygląda jak z ery PS3. Jeżeli to wygląda już teraz słabo lub przynajmniej rozczarowująco, to za 2 lata będziemy z tego ostro drwili. Nie wiem co kierowało Toei przy wybraniu CGI, to była kretyńska decyzja, która boli tym bardziej, że "Broly" nadal wygląda doskonale i jego jedyne nieudane elementy, to... właśnie CGI. Życzę im, by dostali odpowiednie konsekwencje w związku z tym, tzn. negatywne recenzje i mniejsze zarobki. Co prawda przez to zapewne będziemy mogli zapomnieć o bardziej przyziemnych klimatach i czekają nas kolejne "epickie bitwy na kosmiczną skalę" (bo popatrzą sobie do Excela i zobaczą - no kurde, filmy z Freezerem i Brolym zarobiły, a ten nie, ciekawe czemu), ale jestem na takim etapie życia, że wystarczy mi ładne bicie się po mordach w formie anime. Od fabuły mam inne anime.
No cóż, może kolejny film im się uda. Ten prawdopodobnie będzie porażką, aczkolwiek mam nadzieję, że będzie przynajmniej kilka ładnych scen, jak np. pojedynek Gohana w deszczu, które będę mógł obejrzeć kilkadziesiąt razy, tak jak wszystkie sekwencje bojowe z wcześniejszego. No i że będzie miał jakikolwiek sens i wkład w rozwój lore (w przeciwieństwie do np. "Wskrzeszenie Freezera", który jest 100% zmarnowanym potencjałem i nie ma jakichkolwiek zalet). No ale to już będzie bardzo trudno powtórzyć... Chociaż z drugiej strony, Japończycy mają złotą kurę jaką jest Dragon Ball, a robią wszystko, by ją zarżnąć zamiast czerpać z niej zyski. Premiera w Japonii będzie za niecałe 2 miesiące, a dobra kopia pojawi się w internecie najpóźniej przed nowym rokiem.
