When it comes to animation, I have spent my fair time with the Japanese variant. Anime is great and there is a reason why even Korean webtoons are made as anime, the production is great and the voice acting established. Perhaps its easier to gain exposure on an existing fanbase too.
Yet a few years back I found myself watching a number of Chinese animated series. One of these is known as The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation, or Mao Dao Zu Shi. For C-Drama watchers this is known as The Untamed.
Let me express my amazement at the story and production quality of this show. It's truly amazing and eclipses many series that I've seen over the years. The concepts of Dao isn't the easiest to get your head around, but sticking with the story and perhaps even reading online for a little explanation when unsure of certain terms will help one to realise how amazing this show is.
