• As eyes can retain an image for hint of second, so when multiple images appear in rapid motion the brain merges in single moving image.

• The images or frames can be 2D drawings, 3D models, or even photographs.

• Animation can be created by methods, such as traditional hand-drawn animation, computer-generated, etc.

• It is used to bring characters and scenes to life in films, cartoons, video games, and by other forms.
