I´ve being playing around a little with the chatbot (chatGPT) from Openai.com, and made some very mixed experiances by doing so.
Let´s look on some of the questions I asked the bot:
well, that might be not a bad answer in the first part, but for the second part this is a stupid lie, which rose some doubts at first glance but let´s go on and see what´s more...
...I changed the second part, so far the answer was somehow expected by me and seem to be correctin parts even with the date !
ok now it becomes a little more tricky the facts seem to be ok, but wait what comes next ;)
ooops, something went wrong, no? Look at the date on my laptop in the down right corner !
So I decided to ask a bit more agressive, what means I changed the wording a bit
...and se what answer I got for that, yes the AI is sure about the date !? ah for your information the last sentence of the question was the newly typed in part of the question which brought up the next answer here...
..so the AI deducted 2 years of the original date regarding to the date I mentioned in the question ???
But hey I got one more, 2 questions from today and its getting worse ;)
...holy shit what a clever AI !
not even the actual date is delivered correctly, so what is the codebase then, a base from 2020 ?
We got 2 dates for the 7th of December 2022 as follows: 2020 August 11th and 2020 December 7th hmmmmmmm ???
And we got 2 very interesting dates for the 17th of December 2022 --> today is 2020 August 11th and tomorrow is 2020 April 28th !!!
So what the hell where is all the intelligence in that bot that isn´t able to come up with the correct date, when the developers state there ALGO will check Databases and the WEB for answers, so the official webtimer must be hidden behind a chinese wall or amaybe was shut down by the bad Russian or North Korean hackers, man there is a long way to go for these guys!
Until today the can call their creation Artificial but not Inteligence ;)
