Airdrops are free token that you get for being a part of existing networks or new test phase networks. Those who used the aptos network in their test phase were rewarded with a good amount of crypto ( in aptos ).
Similarly i got a airdrop back in 2021 on the dig network based on my blurt holdings ( staked blurt ). Not only me many people who connected their cosmos wallet were rewarded with the same.
That was one of the biggest airdrop of my life but sadly there was a locked period of 24 months due to which i was not able to sell any of them. I kept all of them staked and never sold them.
The token has gained some price recently as you can see in the chart i have shared below.
I remember that last month the price was $0.0008 and now it's $0.0013 approx. Don't really know the reason of this gain but i am happy. I really do not know any real world use case of this project and that's why i think i will sell them.
The price is well maintained in last seven days. 24H Low and High can be seen below.
There is a problem, i headed over to my dashboard of looks.chillvalidation the site where most of the cosmos based tokens can be monitored.
I saw there that it's approx one month since DIG blockchain produced any block. I couldn't send my dig out perform any operations.
I just hope it will get fixed so that atleast i can move my funds out. Always remember that when you get airdrop, try to sell some of the tokens so that you can not regret later.

I have 400,000 dig that I can’t move … Luckily I converted most to Osmosis that I have staked to earn more Osmosis.
I sure hope Dig is not dead.

I think the gamestate was the one i have heard more about compared to DIG.
I have never trusted these chains that offer airdrops that are stakes for a long time and unable to be unstaked during that period. I have seen many get burned by it, There will be more to come as many of the DeFi hype coins will be maturing in the coming months
