Hey Blurters, I'm Arsalan.
You all must have heard the name of AIDS and how dangerous it is, many of us know it but still I thought I would share some more things with you.

Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome or AIDS is a condition following human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection, in which humans lose their natural immunity.

AIDS itself is not a disease, but the human body suffering from AIDS loses its natural resistance to infectious diseases, which are caused by bacteria and viruses, because HIV (the virus that causes AIDS) The resistant substance present in the blood attacks the lymph cells.

Due to the gradual loss of immunity in the body of AIDS sufferers, any opportunistic infection, ie, from common cold to diseases like tuberculosis, becomes easy and difficult to treat. HIV. It may take 8 to 10 years or more for the infection to reach the stage of AIDS.

A person with HIV can live for many years without any specific symptoms.
AIDS is one of the biggest health problems of the present era, that is, it is an epidemic.

There are three main causes of AIDS infection - through unprotected sex, blood exchange and mother-to-child transmission.

The National Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome Control Program and the United Nations Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome both agree that 80 to 85 percent of infections in India are spread through unprotected heterosexual/heterosexual sex.

It is believed that the first virus of this disease: HIV was found in a special species of monkey of Africa and from there it spread all over the world.
So far it is considered incurable but research is going on around the world on its treatment. Since the discovery of AIDS in 1981, about 300 million people have lost their lives to it.
