The alternate economy in the inland northwest
Come join us at the Saltroom of Spokane on Saturday and build community while supporting and growing the alternate economy here in the inland northwest. A few weeks will mark the start of the 3rd year of having the exchange. I can't believe it has already been 2 complete years. We've met many new friends and supporters along the way and can't wait to meet more.

Gotta love the free market.
The jam is a favorite of mine. My daughter loves it on my sourdough bread. Carol, my friend who makes it forages for most of the fruits she uses. There are lots of random apple and pear trees around here. She knows people who have cherry trees in their back yards. I think the only one she purchases fruit from a grower for is the peach.
My favorite are her pear butter and cherry jam.
