It's my 3rd session completed after a long break of 4 months and when I started again I felt like I was doing it for the very first time. But then just in 1 session I could catch up on the rhythm. It's always fun to do this and I enjoy it thoroughly. It is intense, hard and needs lot of strength. The strength part is something which I lose out if I do it after a long gap. It takes some time to again set into the practice. The first session went very hectic but after that it got easy.
The falls are still something that I am not 100% confident and I need some support. Even though I know that it's 100% safe but still there is some hesitation doing it all by myself. I always ask my teacher to just stand near me, that gives me comfort doing it. The poses where there is too much strength required, those ones also I need a little push from my teacher, specially the swings where I need a lot of practice to do it all by myself.
Some pictures from my yesterday's class. This is the one where the fall is required after coming to a sitting position, that is where I become nervous and I ask my teacher to be with me. Once down then it all looks very comfortable.
The end result looks simple but it is a task going through the process of coming to the end result.
This pose is now the most simplest one for me, and I do not need any help here. My teacher says I should stop doing this now as it just gives me self gratification....hehehe.....but I always do it once atleast in the session. Inversions always give me a lot of satisfaction. That head rush makes me feel good.
This is a simple one and I enjoy it because it gives a full stretch to my spine
There are 5 more classes to go through while I am still here and I am looking forward to them. I am sure by end of it I will be much more confident doing the poses all by myself.
Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸
You are so flexible , when was the first time you started doing this ?
It's been a year I have started doing it, but I have never been able to do it continuously. It happens in bits and pieces whenever I travel to India
