I would enjoy your company as I embark on a voyage of self-discovery and share the lessons that have led me to this point in my life, having just experienced the most terrible experience of my life that I can still clearly remember—that life-changing event that taught me about abandonment. While I do this, I invite you to go deep within yourself and consider the lessons you've learned from your experiences, which have shaped your beliefs, behavior, and responses to life's challenges.

Addictive Personality Disorder is the title I chose for this post since every behavior has the potential to develop into an addiction. An addiction is the cause of a lot of our flaws and mistakes. In actuality, all people have addictive personalities, and we all have the capacity to cause problems by unhelpful regular behavior.

Simply put, a habit is a behavior that has been sustained over time and ingrained in our subconscious. Put differently, there are things we are doing that we are completely unconscious of. When someone tells you to do or say something, have you ever rejected or disagreed with them? You have, without a doubt; we all have.

According to my definition, addiction is the condition of being completely dependent on a behavior, habit, or psychologically or physically habit-forming substance to the point where giving it up could seriously damage relationships, ruin life, or even cause terrible trauma.

Addiction is typically associated with a person's dependence on a substance, such alcohol or narcotics. Indeed, it still presents a worldwide challenge. Still, there are situations in which our need for a "high" gets so intense that the alleged addict loses control and pursues the activity in spite of all the drawbacks.
